About Our School
Along with a highly qualified staff, Ettrick Elementary features individualized attention through low student to teacher ratios. As an Achievement Gap Reduction qualified school, our K-3 elementary class sizes are 18:1 or less, and if the ratio is exceeded additional teacher support is provided.
Building and Staff
Ettrick Elementary is a one section 4K-5 school that was constructed in 1950. The building was remodeled in 1967 and the Community Center was added in 1999 along with a remodel of the south end of the building.
The building is in good shape and provides a warm, welcoming learning environment where everyone can feel comfortable. The staff is stable, experienced, works together with enthusiastic attitudes, and has set classroom and building goals to ensure high levels of expectations for students.
Student Achievement
On the State Accountability Report Cards, Ettrick Elementary consistently achieves the rating of Significantly Exceeds Expectations. Staff commitment to continuous improvement helps to ensure our students are achieving at high levels.
Ettrick Elementary has been recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for its growth being awarded the designation Title I School of Distinction.
