At Ettrick Elementary, our hearts are as warm as our students' hands will be this winter! ❤️ A huge Redhawk thank you to @CCFBANK for their incredibly generous donation of cozy winter hats and mittens for our students.
Your kindness ensures that every child can play, learn, and enjoy the outdoors safely as the Wisconsin weather gets colder. We are so grateful for community partners like you who help our students thrive!

Today was a busy Friday at Ettrick Elementary!
Our day started with a special delivery. Thank you to Groovy Grind and the generous families and community for beginning our day with a drink delivery, along with some snacks. It was the perfect way to fuel our morning full of field trip fun!
4K had their first outreach day at Ferguson's Orchard. 1st grade went to the Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge. Lastly, 2nd grade went on a walking field trip around town to different area businesses. Although it wasn't the best weather our students didn't let the rain stop their fun!

🌟 3rd Grade Cultural Experience! 🌟
Third graders from across the district gathered at Trempealeau Elementary for a special cultural learning event! They enjoyed engaging presentations by George Greendeer, Bethany Redbird, and Paula Cleveland from the Ho-Chunk Nation.
Students explored the rich history and vibrant culture of the Ho-Chunk people — and even got to play a traditional Ho-Chunk dice game! 🎲✨
Thank you to our wonderful presenters for sharing their knowledge and traditions with our students. What an unforgettable experience! 🌿❤️

🎉 Second graders across the district wrapped up their learning about Hmong culture with an incredible hands-on experience led by Mrs. Yang! Students got to try on traditional clothing, hats, and jewelry from different Hmong tribes, create their own Hmong hats, and even taste delicious traditional Hmong egg rolls! ✨ A huge thank you to Mrs. Yang and the students who helped make this a fun and memorable experience — our second graders had an amazing time! 💛
