Our first launch day adventures are complete at Ettrick Elementary! Teachers and students were busy taking on our PBIS expectations challenge, organizing new supplies, and trying out new materials in their classrooms. We are excited to see the rest of our students for more adventures tomorrow!

🌟 3rd Grade Cultural Experience! 🌟 Third graders from across the district gathered at Trempealeau Elementary for a special cultural learning event! They enjoyed engaging presentations by George Greendeer, Bethany Redbird, and Paula Cleveland from the Ho-Chunk Nation. Students explored the rich history and vibrant culture of the Ho-Chunk people — and even got to play a traditional Ho-Chunk dice game! 🎲✨ Thank you to our wonderful presenters for sharing their knowledge and traditions with our students. 🎉 Second graders across the district wrapped up their learning about Hmong culture with an incredible hands-on experience led by Mrs. Yang! Students got to try on traditional clothing, hats, and jewelry from different Hmong tribes, create their own Hmong hats, and even taste delicious traditional Hmong egg rolls! ✨ A huge thank you to Mrs. Yang and the students who helped make this a fun and memorable experience — our second graders had an amazing time! 💛
